Smockadot Kids is based in Greenville, SC. In addition to our online store, we are presently doing home shows in Upstate SC. Why have I never heard of Smockadot Kids before? TOP
Smockadot Kids is a new company in its beginning phase; we are so excited that you have found us. Spring/Summer 2009 is our first season! In today's world of online shopping, you can purchase beautiful clothing for your children just about anywhere. However, we understand that young families do not always wish to pay the high prices that often come with boutique clothing, especially smocked and personalized clothes. Smockadot Kids, LTD is dedicated to bringing you the high quality, "with-the-trends" clothing without the high price tag! Who makes Smockadot clothing? TOP
To bring you the highest quality at the best prices, we create our smocked designs, then outsource the production and hand smocking overseas. (No, we are not sitting at home watching TV and smocking. We are way too busy keeping up with our kiddos who wear the clothes!)
We also have beautifully personalized clothing that is made right here in the USA! What are the benefits of hosting a home show? TOP
We are offering special incentives during our first season for our hostesses: - If you host a home show with at least eight people in attendance, you get a free dress or john john.

YES, we can do shows outside of the Greenville area. A “trunk” of our samples would be sent to the hostess. She would host the show and take the orders. Phone or IM support is provided during the time of the show, in case there are questions. She would then send the orders to us and use the prepaid postage label to ship the trunk to the next hostess or back to the home office! Does Smockadot Kids have representatives in other states? TOP
Not at this time. However, we hope to move in that direction soon! If you know someone who may be interested in earning free clothes for her kids, while making some extra cash, please let us know! Can I buy these clothes in local stores? TOP
At this time, no. We are considering making our line available to some local shops. However, the prices in the store would be higher. Because we sell directly from the manufacturer to you, we are able to keep our cost down. Once we begin selling to stores, the store owners will have to mark up our clothing so they can make a profit! How do I care for my Smockadot clothing? TOP
Unless otherwise specified, hand wash your Smockadot clothing and hang to dry. This is very special clothing for very special kiddos! How do I decide what size I need? TOP
Choosing the right size is extremely important, as we do not accept returns due to sizing issues. Most products will have a size chart provided to ensure you are able to choose the best size possible for your child. Remember that smocked clothing often runs a little large to give your child room to grow. How long will it take to receive my items? TOP
Because of the highly custom nature of our clothing, please allow 2-4 weeks for your purchases to arrive. (During peak seasons, delivery time may be longer. Please check with us to find out current delivery times during holidays.) We do offer expedited shipping for an additional fee. We also offer Order Tracking to allow customers to obtain a quick status update. What are your policies on payments, returns, etc? TOP
